The Best Rodízio Restaurants Near Lisbon (Seafood & Brazilian)
If you have never tried rodízio before, Portugal is a fantastic place to start.
For anyone unfamiliar with the concept, rodízio is continuous table service where food keeps arriving until you decide you are done. Think of it as the ultimate “just one more plate” dining experience.
Around Lisbon and Cascais, there are two rodízio experiences we regularly recommend depending on whether you love seafood or meat.
Seafood Rodízio in Cascais: Baía do Peixe
Our personal favourite is the shellfish rodízio at Baía do Peixe in Cascais.
They continuously bring oysters, clams, shrimp, barnacles, and other seafood directly to your table. Once you finish something, you can ask for more at any time.
The best part is the location — overlooking Cascais Bay, especially beautiful after a day trip to nearby Sintra.
One important thing: order consciously. The restaurant is generous with refills but asks guests not to waste food, which is fair considering the amount of seafood involved.
Brazilian Rodízio for Meat Lovers
If seafood is not your thing, we also recommend trying a Brazilian rodízio experience:

Servers walk around with different cuts of meat and carve portions directly onto your plate. You simply say yes or no depending on what you want to try.
There is also a buffet with sides, salads, and extras.
Our recommendation? Definitely try the picanha.
