You can spend the entire day here as there is restaurants and bars at the same location. I would say this will be more appropriate for adults rather than families with small children.

Oceanic pool Oeiras
Oeiras

Fancy swimming in the Atlantic sea but don't want to be in the sand after? Take the train or drive to Oeiras and you will find the Oeiras Ocean Pool with an amazing view of the Ocean and the Oeiras marina.
This pool is filled with water from the ocean and is split into two sections: one for kids and the other for adults with four diving boards. 

Ideal for families there are sun loungers, umbrellas, changing rooms, and the bar will serve light meals. To top this if come by car they have dedicate parking spaces.

Cascais

This is another Atlantic swimming pool literally in the Ocean. The great advantage (?) it's free :) and you can alternate using the swimming pool with going to one of the beaches near by.
From Lisbon it is easy to reach by train, a mere 4 min walk from the Cascais train station.
